Delhi: Rekha Gupta takes metro, bus ride after PM Modi’s call for fuel conservation
During the journey, the Delhi Chief Minister was seen interacting with fellow passengers and encouraging the use of public transport.
Indian Ambassador to Spain Jayant N Khobragade on Tuesday visited the Delhi Metro exhibition stall at the Smart City Expo World Congress taking place in Barcelona, Spain from November 4 to 6.
Khobragade took a round of the exhibition and was briefed about the Delhi Metro by DMRC’s Principal Executive Director, Corporate Communications Anuj Dayal. He appreciated the efforts made by the DMRC to extend its global footprint as consultant in the mass transit sector.

“The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is participating in this Congress of world repute to present the Delhi Metro as a global consultant for the Mass Transit Sector which can provide a 360 degree solution to all requirements pertaining to Metro Rail development across the world,” a DMRC spokesperson said.

The Smart City Expo World Congress is an event of global repute where urban planners, transport operators and technology professionals visit from more than a 100 countries and deliberate on a range of issues pertaining to urban planning and development.
